Dr. My Hoa Kaas
Dr. My Hoa Kaas completed three years of advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgical training as well as a research fellowship in Seattle, Washington. Then she completed an orthopedic traumatology fellowship in Naples, Italy. She is Board Certified in both Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and Foot Surgery. Dr. Kaas was selected to serve as a medical examiner for the American Board of Podiatric Surgeons. She is a Diplomate member of ABPS and a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Kaas served with the Cripple Children’s Project in the Yucatan Peninsula. She continues to be active in the teaching and surgical training of podiatric residents. In 2010, she was recognized by the International Association of Orthopedic Surgeons as a “Top Foot and Ankle Surgeon”. In addition she was awarded "Leading Physician of the World" in 2010 by the International Organization of Orthopedic Surgeons and "America's Top Podiatrist" in 2012 by Consumer Research Council of America.
Dr. Jay Ryan
Dr. Jay Ryan received his medical degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, graduating with highest honors. He completed his residency in Atlanta, GA at DeKalb Medical and Emory Hospital, one of the top residency programs in the country. While there, he was extensively trained in advanced reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. He has also worked closely with professional and amateur athletes and is able to offer unique insight for this population. He is an author in the last five editions of 'Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery Annual Update', as well as 'McGlamry's Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery' and many professional journals. Dr. Ryan is a faculty member of The Podiatry Institute and lectures internationally for the Institute on various surgical topics. He participates in the surgical training of residents at the Northern Virginia Podiatric Surgical Residency. Additionally, Dr. Ryan regularly participates in Medical Mission work, most recently traveling to Kathmandu, Nepal. To maintain the highest accreditation, he is an Associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons for both Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery and Foot Surgery.
